Right from the start: There is an idea behind every product and we keep an eye on the future and think about the choice of materials as early as the development stage. Thus, the life cycle assessment and the associated environmental impact are already taken into account during the development process, and work is carried out with clear objectives. The utmost thought is given to the development of design concepts in-house.

Environmentally friendly: Short distances and certified materials, such as wood, are important for the environmentally conscious procurement of raw materials. That's why Sedus stands for Made in Germany. Furthermore, we pass on our high requirements for the environment, human rights, labour standards and corruption prevention to all Sedus suppliers for them to sign.

• Materials: Use of secondary aluminium, wood from sustainable forestry, leather from Germany or Austria, textiles in accordance with the Öko-Tex standard or Cradle-to-Cradle certification, recyclable plastics

Produced locally: Production in our own factories enables the best possible control. Environmentally relevant processes remain in our own hands. The same applies to efficient energy generation and energy-saving consumption.

On the way to the customer: Sedus places value in the right measure – both in terms of the quantity of packaging materials and the packing dimensions. Logistics and shipping are optimised with intelligent packaging systems and the correct loading of lorries.
