Thus, the assessment of life cycles and the associated environmental impacts are already taken into account in the development process, and work is carried out with clear specifications. The development of design concepts by our in-house team is always given the utmost care and consideration.

Environmentally friendly: Short distances and certified materials, such as wood, are important for the environmentally conscious procurement of raw materials. That's why Sedus stands for Made in Germany. Furthermore, we pass on our high requirements of environment, human rights, labour standards and corruption prevention to our suppliers for them to sign.

• Materials: Use of secondary aluminium, wood from sustainable forestry, leather from Germany or Austria, textiles in accordance with the Öko-Tex standard or Cradle-to-Cradle certification, and recyclable plastics

Produced locally: Production in our own factories enables the best possible control. Environmentally relevant processes remain in our own hands. The same applies to efficient energy generation and energy-saving consumption.
